We are on the lookout for the most creative, most unique, and funniest photos of your Extech at work. You use your Extech every day, and we want to see how!

Whether it’s a picture of your meter at work on a wiring installation job, or a picture of you using your borescope to check your pickup’s underbody, show us what you're doing with your Extech test equipment.

We’re not just looking for on-the-job pictures. Are you using your Extech to measure windspeed on Mt. Kilimanjaro or the cheering noise level at your favorite major league ballpark? Show us!

We will be awarding four (4) prizes in the following categories:

• Most Unique Job Use
• Most Unique Location
• Funniest Photo
• and Staff Favorite

So how do you submit your photos? Head on over to the Photos section of Planet Extech, click "Add" in the corner, and get started! Add a brief description of the photo and make sure you tag your photos with "Summer Photo Contest." Please, no photoshops (look for that in a future contest). Enter as often as you wish.

Winners will have the opportunity to select one (1) of the following Extech Products as a prize:

• EX845 AC/DC True RMS Clamp Meter with IR Thermometer
• BR200 Video Borescope & Wireless Inspection Camera
• BR250 Video Borescope & Wireless Inspection Camera
• CT70 AC Circuit Load Tester

1. This competition is open to all parties, except for employees of FLIR Systems, Inc., their families or anyone else associated with this contest.

2. All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 3. Entries should be submitted via the "Photos"  section of www.planetextech.com and tagged as "Summer Photo Contest." Submitters are required to have an account with PlanetExtech.com. We regret that we are unable to accept postal entries.

4. All entries must be received by the advertised closing date.

5. All images submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. Entrants must warrant that the photograph they are submitting is their own work and that they own the copyright for it.

6. Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants. However, in consideration of their providing the Competition, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual license to Extech Instruments and FLIR Systems, Inc. to feature any or all of the submitted images in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional material.

7. The winning entries will be judged and selected by the editors of PlanetExtech.com. The winner will be notified via their PlanetExtech.com account, and announced on PlanetExtech.com. The closing date for submissions is Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Winners will be announced by September 6th.
